When you first open the app, tap "Load Sample Data" from Settings to see how everything works with example students, classes, and staff. When you're ready, you can delete the sample data and add your own team.
Log in as an Admin, go to Settings > Manage Staff > tap the + button. Choose a role (Admin, Teacher, or Aide) for each team member. Admins get full control; Teachers can enter points and view analytics; Aides can enter points for their assigned classes.
From the Classes tab, tap + to create a new class. Set the period, room, and color, then assign staff. Go to the Students tab to add students, then assign them to classes from their detail view.
Teachers see their assigned classes organized by period. Tap a student card to expand it, then tap a behavior chip to log points instantly. For quick +1/-1, use the buttons on the collapsed card without expanding.
Yes — each student card shows cross-class period dots. These colored dots summarize their points from earlier periods so you know what kind of day they're having before they walk in.
Expand a student's card and scroll to the notes section at the bottom. Type your note and tap Save. Notes are tagged with the class period, timestamp, and your name.
Absolutely. Go to the Behaviors tab (Admin view), tap +, and create custom behaviors with your own emoji, name, description, and point value. You can also control which classes each behavior appears in.
From Settings > Manage Staff, tap a staff member to configure their notification preferences. You can enable/disable low point alerts, critical alerts, star student alerts, and point entry reminders with your preferred frequency.
All data stays on your device. Nothing is sent to any server. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Yes. Go to Settings > Export Data to generate a CSV file with all behavior records. You can copy it to your clipboard or share it from there.
Uninstalling the app removes all data. You can also reset specific records from within the app.
Make sure notifications are enabled in both the app (Settings) and in your iPhone's Settings > TrackSEL Pro > Notifications. Notifications must be allowed at both levels.
Make sure an Admin has assigned you to classes in Staff Management. Teachers and Aides only see classes they've been assigned to.
